Re: [FWDLK] 1955 Poly interchange

I can answer the last part.  The 277/301/318 poly was built starting in 1956 in Plymouth's "Qualimatic" plant.  It is totally different than the Dodge poly, which was also used in 1955 Plymouths.  The Plymouth poly is the engine that got the nickname "wide block," which really isn't a correct description as it's no wider than many other blocks.

Hello all.. On the 1955 Chrysler 301 Poly,(spitfire?) what interchanged with that motor in terms of speed equipment, intake cam water, fuel pumps and so on? Are they the same as the Plymouth and Dodge polys? Dose it share anything with the Plymouth 301/318 poly?
