  Just for the record, the 2.76 gear set came out of my Coronet convertible.  I had it professionally rebuilt about 5000 miles previous, so it should be nice and tight and quiet.
 
   I am glad you are happy with it.  The only reason I swapped it out was a better match to the A-833 4-speed going into the car was the original 3.23 posi - the high gears were too much and compensated for by the O/D 4th gearing in the tranny anyway.  Had I left it 2.76, ALL the gearing would have leaned to the top end.  This way I got a better balance, ...  But I would bet the 440 would have pushed that car over 200 with 2.76's and .73 overdrive (the car could never handle it, but the drivetrain could have done it) !!!!
