[FWDLK] Tranny shifting..

Anybody had any experience with a T/Flite hesitating for several 
seconds, to shift out of  Neutral, into
a Forward gear, but, once that engagement is made, the car shifts just 
fine.

It doesn't hesitate so long, going into Reverse, from Neutral, as it 
does going into  a Forward gear, and any other
gear-shift, NOT involving  Neutral  doesn't incur  the hesitation.

While I'm waiting for the gear-engagement, the trannie and engine sound 
perfectly normal, and, one  underway
there is no shifting problemos.

What do you guys think is causing the hesitation?
