Re: [FWDLK] How do I disconnect trans and remove the 383?

Sometimes it isn't much more work, except you have to deal with ~11 quarts
of ATF, the shifter cable, the driveshaft, rear cross-member, and dragging
that big ol' e-brake drum out from under the tunnel (oh, and that 'other'
cable is always a little bit o' fun too!), and the extra clearance for the
big tilt' to get it all out of there w/o scraping the radiator support- and
all that weight- Oh, and when it hits the heater box- which I need a new
one of anyhow from previous owner's disti-bashing :-). Easier if they both
need to come out for sure.

But isn't it easier overall to pull the engine and trans as a unit? I've
done it that way a number of times and had no problems.
