Hey, that's why I signed up on this list... according to some people these
things were junk from day one... horrible finish quality, lots of squeaks
and rattles and poor panel alignment.. no rust protection so they had huge
rust holes in just a few years.. design that was dated by 60-61... sold so
poorly they killed off DeSoto entirely... junk!
And I like all of them - even if the '57 Dodge wagon I nabbed is never anything more than a rusty storage shed, I like being able to look at it. And it sure beats what was going to happen to it - it would be on a boat to China by now in shredded little pieces. In other words, as REAL junk! I'd just as soon my junk is still shaped like a car, thanks.
