As I'm sure others have since pointed out, delivery confirmation would make the buyer's claim moot. With DC, even if the item were misdelivered, it is no longer your responsibilty, but the POs. Now, when I sell on ebay, I always pay for my postage ONLINE using paypal (of course, buyer pays for shipping). Doing it this way, delivery confirmation is free, and if it's a small enough item, I can just drop it in MY OWN mailbox to mail it . . . no trip to the post office. I, too, learned this lesson through a buyer claiming to have not received the item. They filed an ebay claim. I showed ebay my postal receipt, showing the buyers name and address, but since it was not delivery confirmation, the buyers claim was granted, and
