Yeah, but ain't it fun? Unlike brand F and brand C, you
can't just open a catalog and order perfect NORS parts at reasonable
prices. Ma MoPar hates the old cars, [except muscle cars,] won't
license any repro parts to speak of, so that leaves us
scrounging.
But, think of all the great friends and relationships we've
all gleaned from meetings, shows and car/parts deals that never would've
transpired via a catalog. I had a guy who owned Chevys for years and bought a 57
Dodge truck told me what a great fraternity the Mopar world has. He'd never had
so much intereste and help finding parts and advice like w/Chevy ownership. From
what he said, it's dog eat dog (hehe) in the Chevy world.
