Here's the parts-book's exploded view of my power steering pump (really
complicated, huh?)
It's the one with the 3" removeable lid.
As Rich has PM'ed me, there are only one seal & one O-ring involved in
this guy.
As I'm experiencing a weepage (despite Lucas HD P/S fluid , which has
the consistency of HONEY) at the FRONT-body connection, it would appear
to me that the only thing that I might need to replace is that
available-over-the-counter O-ring, and NOT that small "seal" which is
installed in the tubular-neck spring-loaded section of the pump?
Rich says that both the seal & the O-ring are available at a big-city
'bearing-shop'.
I'm just hoping/planning to get the O-ring, from my parts-shop--not
holding out any hopes, on that small seal, though.
