One thing to keep in mind is that this is a movie car, it only had to
look good for the camera, the sellers idea of a "restoration"
is somewhat different than ours. Ratty wiring, incorrect parts and
oddball interior means nothing to them, they think they can justify the
price just because the car was filmed in a few scenes in a movie that
some of us would just as soon forget anyway.

Another thing I do not understand, is the idea
of a huge money restoration and "they" skimp on either
non-original narrow white walls or newer style aftermarket batteries,
when original wide whites are available, and original "tar-top"
batteries are also.
