organizers and such - just shrugged their shoulders or said they really didn't
believe people would turn out in the numbers they did.
In today's world, we're so used to being exploited that
when we are part of an event that is more about the celebration and less about
'let's see how much money we can make', we wonder why we're not being gouged. My
hat is off to the well-meaning organizers for not trying to take advantage of us
out-of-towners.
