[FWDLK] canister old filter

    An old head told me long ago to dip your finger in the old oil and run
it around the gasket before tightening the cannister.  This keeps the two
from binding as the cinch is attained and gives a good, tight fit without
bunching up.  Outside of a messy finger, this has worked without fail for me
for 30+ years.
