Years ago, after the second official Mopar Water Pump started leaking,
I went to NAPA. While waiting at the counter, the counter pad had info
on water pumps. I asked about the NEW NAPA pumps and it turned out that
it was cheaper than the rebuilt, Had a LIFETIME garentee, and was 100%
brand new. NOT just cleaned up and someone deciding the bearing was OK
and pushing it thru the system to you.
Don't know if they are still available (10-12 years ago), but ask about
it. Mine was still doing great last time the truck was running.
