[FWDLK] Best method to clean NOS door locks?

FLL:

What is the best method to clean the 56 Ply NOS door locks?

They have some old dried white grease lube and small amount of accumulated dust/debris from sitting over the years.

 

The products I have on hand are Simple Green, Laquer Thinner, Spray Carb Cleaner, and old-fashioned soap and water.

 

This is probably not a big deal but I did not want to accumulate moisture that could dilute the new lube after I clean them or create a mess.
