I use Westley's on my wide whites and it works just fine. I use a bristle brush for scrubbing, and it leaves no marks on the sidewalls. My tires are only 4 years old, so they are still very white. Of course, it only gets driven about 1,000 miles a year, and then only in sunshine, so it's pretty babied for a driver. Tony B. Products to use (or not to use)? I have heard that you should NOT use steel wool for cleaning them as the fibers can embed in the rubber. I have used Westley's white wall cleaner myself. It works OK for general cleaning but doesn't get the gleaming white I would like. As white walls age they yellow. Is this just a fact to live with???
