What about the reproduction material that one can buy for our cars now? Is it woven any sturdier that the original stuff? I've thought on occasion of having my car reupholstered in a cloth that was original, but if "original" is that problematic, I'll stay with the stuff I've got. The Coronet "Custom" (sub-model) cloth was called "Star Dot". That Coro Sutter's Gold was pretty study stuff, as it didn't have a 'thickness/texture', to it, which could be 'grabbed', by clothing passing over it. Gotham Texture was VERY thick/nappy/ dimensional material.
