Mopar had them second - 1954 : Cadillac 1955 : Cadillac, Imperial, Packard, Thunderbird * 1956 : Cadillac, Continental, Corvette, Ford, Lincoln, Meteor, Packard, Studebaker, Thunderbird 1957 : Buick, Cadillac, Continental, Corvette, DeSoto, Oldsmobile, Thunderbird 1958 : Cadillac, Corvette, DeSoto 1959 : Corvette 1960 : Corvette * The 1955 Thunderbird exhaust actaully exited through the rear bumoer guards, located above the bumper. The 1956 Mercury and Monarch had the exhaust pipe ends attached to the bottom of the bumper.
