I purchased a "small"  free-standing unit from TIP (advertised in Hemmings), 
which ran off my 50-gallon stand-up compressor. This  was great for many 
automotive cleaning needs. Seems like a hand-held unit would be like a toy 
by comparison, but if you dont have the large compressor, maybe you'll have 
to go that route.
