I guess you could say that my original, untouched 57 Fury engine compartment fender sides and radiator cross member are also a gloss black. With proper lighting you can see your fingers reflected in them. But it is not so shiny that you can see your face in it...rather a satin to gloss finish but closer to gloss. Just not high gloss. Now that is for a Lynch Road built car..Dodge may have been built in either Hamtramck or maybe Los Angeles...
