I get these offers [certified check, and for added $ to cover
shipping] very often. Always a scam. They never even know what they are
buying - they just want the "parts for sale". I usually just delete it,
sometimes I cuss them out, sometimes I lead them on and have actually
received the checks - then I call the bank and let them know.
