Bill,

I was told that Canada switched from MPH to KPH in the early 70's, so any
vehicle prior to that date have a MPH speedometer.

Could the KPH speedo be a Canada part?

I had a 1989 Buick wagon which had a KPH speedo, unfortunately the car got
badly vandalized on me and they killed it.   I can't remember now exactly
why, but we concluded the car was sold new in Canada -


If it's that simple, it might be as simple as finding a junkyard north of
the border with some 57-8 Plymouths or Dodges in it -
