Thanks John. Sounds like you've been down this road a few times. The 24" narrow hole is probably not a defect, since it's bound. Given that the edges are bound, I figured that it would be a perfect fit. Otherwise, if you cut it, you are loosing the advantage of the binding. Methinks that they sent an incorrect piece.
