I'm not being skeptabal [this time]; no doubt to me that his
money touched the car.
I'm just in awe, or more of a stupor, that [a] people will
spend so much money for cars as they are at B-J and [b] that so many people seem
to have so much money to spend.
Remember, some of the most opulent and expensive cars were
sold during the "Great Depression" when a lot of people didn't have a
dime...

Hmmm...nobody ever said that he actually drove the car. It
was owned by his corporation, for whatever reason. I knew the owner of the
car. Nice guy. Glad his estate got what they did for it.

Interesting story... since Howard Huge had his '54
New Yorker trunk filled full of air filtration devices and was already on
his way to being totally wacked out by '57, I have trobule picturing him
ever even touching the car.

Imperial
Part of the big appeal was it was bought by
Howard Hughes, remember the 55 Buick that sold last year for
$1,000,000.00?? Also owned by Mr. Hughes...
He had good taste in cars and
women!!

That aught to make my beat up '58 Imp parts car worth
like $3500 right?
Although I do know where there is a 2dr hardtop
I could get and I have a reciprocating saw here... (it's just
as rough)
(probably can only get that in $3 bills with a
picture of Clinton on them....)
