Yes and the designation was used into the 60's. The 62 - 318 four barrel application was a powerpack designation. Dual exhaust was good but the anemic exhaust manifolds precluded any benefit to be gained.

In the case of Dodge, the hemi was usually 'Super Red Ram' or D-500 / D-501.
