I bought a
new pinion seal for my 56 at my local auto parts store a couple of years ago.
It came from Chicago Rawhide for about 25 bucks, new and fresh.

[FWDLK] Kanter.com
I looked at the Dodge for sale on Ebay and noticed a reference to
Kanter so I took a look at their site and was pleased at how many parts and
kits they have for my 1955 Dodge and others. I have been looking for a
pinion seal to no avail but they had one.
