Did Imperial and Chrysler use the same basic rearend? Believe you'd need to use the Imperial axles to get a 5x5 pattern out back - (could be wrong, have yet to take one of these apart). Up front, drums/hubs, shoes and backing plates are all you'd need to swap though. Probably a means to order a HD suspension in the books - possibly even a car intended for export? The second car has 15" x 5.5" bolt pattern Imperial style ventilated wheels all the way around. This car does look as if it was someone's tow vehicle somewhere along the way as it still has a trailer hitch and a very 50's / 60's period looking external transmission cooler installed in front of the radiator. > > > > I believe that it only required a change of drums and brake parts, the > drums would have had the HUBs in them usually. > > -- > Paul Holmgren > 2 57 300-C's in Indy > Hoosier Corps L#6 > > ************************************************************* > > To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to > http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 > > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. > Version: 7.0.322 / Virus Database: 267.3.0 - Release Date: 5/30/2005 > > -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
