Re: [FWDLK] Mopar, but not Forward Look

I don't mean to start a trend but I've been meaning to ask some Mopar guys
about a car I myself saw in a salvage yard a couple weeks ago -

How odd is what is otherwise an ordinary '70 or so Plymouth Fury III 4-door
hardtop, white vinyl top, in what appears to be factory Plum Crazy purple
paint? (I think it's either '69 or '70, but I need to check against a
spotter's guide for these years or check the VIN). I didn't take the time
to see what motor it had, if it still has one (and I know those could be
built with anything from a slant six to a hemi), but it was in a dry section
and looked like it was in decent shape. In that paint, it stood out.
Someone pulled a fender and you could see it was purple on the firewall and
stuff, which is why I think it's factory. I'm wondering if it's some kind
of dealer demonstrator, or just a weird ordered car.

I can go back and check the paint codes out if someone can tell me, or tell
me where to find, the info - probably want to reply off list on this one..
These cars are pretty underappreciated, so it's not like there is a huge
number of resources for them - and I'm not sure how much info for the more
popular models (Roadrunner, GTX, Barracuda, etc.) translates over.

Thanks

Bill K.
