DeSoto and Plymouth had totally
different dash finishes. Sorry.

Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Dashboard
Paint
We just had this discussion over on the
NDC discussion board due to the '56 DeSoto we are restoring. The answer
I got was to use PPG (Ditzler) "Texture Additive". I've not checked with
my PPG supplier yet, but I trust the information from Martin. My
question was specifically directed to the texture on the dash of the
DeSoto. Hopefully, it would cross over to your Plymouth!
Hope this helps
Tim

I have another question about the '57 Belvedere dashboard. What
kind of paint did they use to get the textured dashboard? I'm at that
stage also. Please let me know as they're supposed to do the dash in
the next few days. Thanks all.
