Ed, I am not very familiar with all years of Mopar, but in 1956, this is what was available: 1. 10 x 2” brakes on some of the least expensive Plymouths. 2. 11 x 2” brakes on most Plymouths and all Dodges. 3. 12 x 2” brakes on Chryslers and DeSotos, Dodge D500 and Plymouth Fury. 4. 12 x 2 ½” brakes on Imperials, racing Chrysler 300s and Dodge D500s. Concerning 12" brake shoes/drums................ I guess they started being used on the Chryslers and Desotos in 1957?? (and Dodge D500?) I am getting mixed signals on the width of the 12" shoes that were used on the 57-59 MOPARs Were there such things as 2" wide shoes?? Or were all 12" shoes 2 1/2" wide?????? Just trying to figure out a parts book Thank you ED ECKERSON LI NY ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 <http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1> ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
