Title: Re: [Chrysler300] Fuel Pump Kits
John Hertog replaced my fuel pump with a modern bolt on replacement. Seems like a no brainer to me. The following advice was given by John to a previous question regarding fuel pumps: “A good replacement 413 fuel pump can be obtained from Summit (1 800 230-3030 ) Order Carter # CRT-M6903 @ $49.95 ; it looks correct and is brandy-new.” No problems with it in the couple years that it has been on the car. The pump on the 300 seems to be leaking around the gasket seam. It is an n.o.s. pump and I am thinking that the newer gas is working on the older diaphram material, and it to will give out as did the fuelpump on my 61 Newport which filled the oilpan with gas. Not good at best. The question is, Where can I buy just a rebuild kit to rebuild the pumps. Is this something Not too tricky for the average 300 owner to tackle? Gary Holm Big G in So. Ore.
