Very true; I worked for a guy in 1956-57 who ordered a new Olds every year with a Pontiac interior. His wife hated the Olds interiors he said and he had to pick the cars up at the factory, as I remember. Did this for many years, until his wife was killed in one. Special orders were common in those days. Some could drive the restorers and judges nuts.
