A message from Neil Vedder (because he used up his daily limit): If it wasn't "clear" (ahem) from my last missive, ANY good upholstery shop can install clear covers on your car(s). When 1st installed, they will feel tacky, but that sensation will go away, 'soon'. Then, you'll notice that those close-fitting covers will provide extra 'support'--you'll not sink as far "into" the seats, as before. Entry/exit will be a LOT easier; on my previous covers, there was an OMINOUS pointy-depression, where the cover protected something 'sharp (enuf!)'--like a ballpoint-point, from puncturing, maybe, even: 'ripping-across' the upholstery!! Scary looking, but "it" ddn't penetrate the plastic. The plastic will also brighten-up the interior (like a clear-coat paint job) and reflect light around the interior. The "worn-in" plastic will not really feel much-different from an "all-vinyl " interior. If I had a convie, I'd immediately install the plastic covers, to protect its multi-$K interior investment! Finally, & most curiously/amusingly, you will be complimented by passers-by, remarking upon the good condition of your "NOS/OEM" plastic seat covers, & saying how they "recalled" them, in the past!!
