A dual chamber MC is only a safety feature, it gives you a couple more pumps to stop if there's a leak in the system somewhere. Disc conversions have been hotly debated a number of times on the list. I only plan to with mine b/c it's all been sitting since 1966 and has to be gone through anyways.
