Hi Neil, Hate to say it, but something very rare in this day and age is what kept the cars on the course: Honesty. As for the making the board flat- this thing is so old/dried out, that I am afraid to try opening it. I am thinking of soaking it in ArmorAll for a few days and then using a hair dryer to make it pliable and opening it then. Once open though, I am gluing it to cardboard so that it can be displayed in a nice shadowbox frame. Also, Tom has generously offered to photocopy the comic book for me, so I will have a complete set at that point. Have a SAFE and happy New Year, Charles. As we've discussed, your game is a timed event, to see how far along the course, "you" can go, within the time-limits. The "Trick/Question" is :"how do you make sure that your car STAYS on the course, not 'cheating' ? ". And, how do you make the plastic "course" saty-flat? Neil---the comic book only shows the 57 car-models being tested "on" the Proving Grounds--the Dodge illustration has the fewest images of all the cars; Plymmie has the 'most' car-images, in the comic book. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Over 25,000 pages of archived Forward Look information can be easily searched at http://www.forwardlook.net/search.htm Powered by Google! |
