Ron, et al, I've mentioned the availability of "FF/FF" rated brake linings, which reportedly can be installed on "our" cars' Lockheed "Centerplane" brake shoes--I saw, on page 78 of the 12/03 MoPar Action rag, an ad from Firm Feel, for :"11x3" carbon brake shoes" . The ad says:" Firm Feel, Inc. has just released their new 11x3" Carbon Metallic Brake Shoes. These shoes are for the high performance enthusiast who demands more [like moi] from his./herbrakes. They fit the 11x3" drums that come on the high performance Hemi B, E, and C-body vehicles [ and. I presume, the SAME 11x3" brakes as appeared on the big-dogs, of 1963 - 65 cars]. They are very drum friendly and offer great fade resistance. Contact Firm Feel---800-347-6426----". Beyond second-hand info, I have no 1st-paw experience with the new-"Centerplane" linings, which are available.
