Buy the brake Pliers. They are called pliers, but like nothing you
have ever seen. In addition to having all the leverage you need, they have
appropriate hooks to SAFELY hold the springs while a point digs into the brake
lining to pull them into place when removing them. When putting the
springs back over the posts, there is a cupped end to safely fit over the posts
without slipping off, which is a danger when using a screwdriver.
