Hey All,
Check this out.......not mine but I've dealt with Chris and
he's a good, honest, person to deal with. Ask him for photos if
interested.
As soon
as I brought the car home, the engine was pulled and sent to the machine shop
to be rebuilt, new bearings, rings, seals gaskets, valves, timing chain,
valve job....the works. The transmission was sent to a
local shop that specialized in antique transmissions and it was opened up and
inspected with no problems. The rear axle was also taken
to a specialist and the ring and pinion, spider gears, axle bearings and
seals were all replaced and completely overhauled
too. The master cylinder was upgraded to a dual bowl
system for safety reasons and all new shoes and wheel cylinders were replaced
along with the drums being turned and re-cut. The car has four brand new 2
5/8 inch wide white wall radial classic tires on it, very good condition full
wheel covers were bought and a set of new old stock fender skirts to be added
after the fresh paint job. The car was painted in September
2003 with enamel paint for originality in the original black and white two
tone color scheme. The chrome and bright work is in good
original condition. The headliner is original and in very
good shape with no tears or cuts. The seats, front and back,
were restored 2 years ago and did not need any attention.
The carpet has not yet been installed as of now and the door panels are still
at the interior shop and will be installed shortly. The car
just came back from having a new dual exhaust system
installed. This is an original 277 cubic inch V8 car with
push button automatic transmission, dual exhaust and 4 barrel Carter
carburetor car!!!! It is a great driver and will win
local car shows but not a large show like Hershey AACA or Pebble Beach in
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This is a nice car to have fun
with and drive to car shows and cruise nights and win awards
with. I will send you current photos if you call or email
back that you are still interested. The car is appraised at
$12,000 (US Funds) but I need the cash to finish another car I have that is
70% finished. I am asking $9,800 in US
Funds. The reason I am selling the car is I bought it on
eBay as it was described as a 2 door hard top which is what I was looking for
and it actually is a 2 door sedan. In the photos, it
looked, and does look like, a 2 door hard top because of the paint scheme of
black and white. Even parked in my driveway when you drive
down the street or pass it is still looks like a 2 door hard top as you can
see in the photo. Let me know if
your interested.Chris Suminski 27090 Jean Rd Warren,
