Re: [FWDLK] 58 and 70 Plymouth's

Hi Ron, I have described the 58 a few times on the list already, and is presently put up for it's long winter rest. She will not see the light of day now until late May/early June 2004. In a nutshell, it is red/white, has the original 318, runs/drives great, has lousy faded paint, a small nick on the hood where the previous owner slammed the hood too hard and is missing the darn headliner strips that hold the middle section up. It also has power brakes and power steering with a black and white interior. It was apraised as a 2+ in 1991 but is not that anymore with the faded paint and dangling foam from the roof. I go back and forth with wanting to sell it, this month is one of the months where I do not care to, unless someone could really convince me they would have a good home for it. The last time I had it up for sale I had wanted $10k a! nd a nice attitude for it. The station wagon is a rambling wreck. It had been sitting in a field for nearly 20 years up here in Vermont. It had been originally driven here in 1980 from Redwood, California pulling a camper when it was then parked at the owner's summer home. Amazingly, the unibody and floors are A-OK, as is the body believe it or not. No salt has ever run across her sleek fuselage style lines. I bought a new carb for it in 1999 and got the car to start right up. It is green with the fake wood sides, has hideaway headlights and a GT style bulged hood and two flat tires. The front seat and floors are deeesgusting! No show car obviously, but then again you just can't beat the price; $0.00 or donate a small amount to a charity of your choice. The car is in Springfield, VT, which is 2.5 hours north of Boston and 4 hours from New York City. I would prefer the car to not be parted or smashed. If no one ever takes it, I intend to continue working on it my! self, and do from time to time. It is sitting in a field again though , so it would be nice to have it in someones garage or driveway. There is really nice guy in CT who would like to have it and put a picture of it on his personal website if anyone cares to view it. The site is
http://broncot.classicbroncos.com You may have to type it as this is how the address reads. (It is not broncot@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx It also has good info on Broncos if your into that sort of thing.

Thanks for writing and reading.....
