My friend Smitty is doing this swap in his '60 Fury..everything is measured and test fit. I'm not positive which drums/backing plates he is using, although I am sure its not the ones that are for the E body....but bigger. He has played with this kind of stuff for awhile...has 4 wheel discs on a 62 newport. He bought a very rusty cuda just for the rear and then parted the car out for a nice profit! I got a rear from a junkyard for $200. I can probably measure one drum-drum, get some photos of the rear end to compare with. If this is a viable swap, I'll bear in mind for my '60 New Yorker - Heck, if the motor and trans out of one would work in the NYer I'd cut one of them up for parts, they're about rusted to pieces anyhow, and sell the cuda stuff on eBay - supposedly the bucket seats are worth what he wants for the car itself anyhow.
