Re: [FWDLK] Canadian convertible spied

The 1962-71 Acadian was based on the Chevy II / Nova for Canadian Pontiac
dealers. It was sold as the Acadian, not Pontiac Acadian, and was replaced
by the Ventura II when that model was introduced in mid-1971. It is not
that rare a vehicle.

Pontiac dealers also sold the Beaumont from 1964 to 1969. It was based on
the Chevelle as the Tempest was imported and too expensive prior to the
Autopact agreement.

 Hello Canadian Members,
I attended the Bite of Seattle last week and I stumbled across a beautiful
convertible in the parking garage... a Chevy Acadian...is this a rare car?
