Thanks for posting that, Al. For what it's worth, I had a Ford 9" rear end
installed in my 60 Saratoga to get rid of the worn-out tapered axle deal. It
was a super easy install, and now I have modern brakes too! You can get Ford
9s in your choice of widths and with your bolt pattern; just call Currie
Enterprises in Anaheim, CA.

I also replaced my driveshaft and that funky front CV joint with a new
balanced driveshaft and modern spicers; it drives really smoothly at speed,
which is my goal.
