It looks like someone agrees that this car is worth six figures, as there's now a bid on it. . . but the reserve hasn't been met yet, and it's listed as a private auction, so the bidder's identity is not revealed; I wonder if it's someone on the list??? Ron, regarding the hood pad: I'd agree with you that it doesn't look correct, as the one on that car kinda looks like pile carpet. But I'd respectfully disagree on a correct one being "yellowish fiberglass", at least in respect to what a Plymouth (and presumable a Dodge as well) would have had. I've seen one or two original hood pads that were really ratty, and they were gray. And the one I got from Gary Goers for Mr. Finzzz was gray, and one piece, and NOT fiberglass. Gary's stuff seems to be pretty much authentic reproduction in most everything else, so I'd have to say my best guess is that his repro hood pad must be pretty darn close too. . . .
