Re: [FWDLK] Driving my DeSoto



We here in the North  have to wait until the spring rains come and melt all
the snow, but in particularly wash all the salt off the roads so it don't
get on the cars.  My coworker last fall took his brand new Harley out for a
spin and started noticing these white specks on the shinny black bike.  He
was following a truck and backed off because something was leaking from it.
We found out later it was salty brine from the oil well around here they
were putting on the roads so when it snowed, the salt would already be on
the pavement.  He quickly took and washed every piece of bike--what a mess
he had.

Jack   in hot and humid 29 degree Shinglehouse, Pa--I forgot it got this
warm.
