I suspect the 1957-59 DeSoto and Chrysler seats would fit as they used the
same basic body as the Dodge and Plymouth. The Plymouth's 118"
wheelbase was stretched to Dodge's 122" by adding 4" in the rear floor
area. And the DeSoto and Chrysler used the same floor as the
Dodge. The 126" wheelbase DeSoto and Chrysler models gained the exta 4"
ahead of the cowl (ie, a 4" longer hood). Chrysler did the same with
the 1960 models.

Hi John -
The rear seat is a tough nut for us convertible
restorers. The seat itself is the same as the 2dr HT. But the rear seat
back is unique to convertibles. You may have to take a 2dr HT seat back
and cut it down to fit the smaller width. Also, 57-9 Dodge and Plymouth
should be the same. Not sure if Desoto and Chrysler are the same as the
junior models.

Does anyone out in FL land have a back seat for a
'57-'58 and/or maybe the '59 Plymouth convertible that they would like to
sell. I'm not sure if the '59 is the same size and shape as the '57
and '58. I'm sure someone will be able to tell me if it is or
not. The seats that I have are in poor shape. The front seat
isn't bad. I wouldn't mind trying to put the "super structure"
together myself. Does anyone know if there is a kit or something for
sale to redo the springs and metal wiring of the seat frame? If so,
please let me know. Thanks in advance.
