Greg, When I had my 55 Plymouth, I just took it any where I wanted. I had it tuned good and felt it was dependable. And it was. I did have a top ring go on me before I had the engine overhauled about 6 hours form home and had my brother in law come get me with the roll back. But after the overhaul I took it farther and no problems. In fact, I didn't even carry a tool or spare parts with me. I don't in my LHS either or my van when I took it to North Carolina. This is probably nuts to some, but it is just me. I did take some tools going to Chryslers @ Carlisle this year with the 79 Motor home I had just bought and it proved good as I did have a few problems that the tools worked out fine. I figured it is like going back in time and if I drove a new or like new 55 Plymouth back then with out tools and not worrying how far I went, I could drive it now. If I had it now, it would probably had made the trip to Oklahoma City to visit our Daughter and family of North Carolina to visit our children there and Harry Doody. Just my 2 cents worth--drive it and enjoy it, but be sure you have it up to par with no short cuts.
