Yes, the 1960 Dart is the same body as the 1960 Matador/Polara. Both share everything (except grille and trim) from the B pillar forward, plus the trunk floor. The Matador/Polara is on a 122" wheelbase, and the extra 4" was done by inserting an extension in the rear floor area. The rear sheet metal is different, again to compensate for the extra 4". The Matador/Polara floorpan was also used by DeSoto and Chrysler. The 126" wheelbase Chrysler Saratoga, New Yorker, and 300F used the same body, but with a 4" longer front stub frame. That body was also used by the 1961 Plymouth, Dart, Polara, DeSoto and Chrysler, and the 1962-64 Chrysler and Dodge 880. The 1963 Chrysler received a major restyle, but underneath that last gasp of Exner styling was a 1960 Polara. Bill Vancouver, BC ----- Original Message ----- From: Floyd D.
