Sounds like a 1955 Chrysler with a 1956 front end. It is a very easy matter to swap front ends on 1955 and 1956 Chryslers and DeSotos. All 1955 Chryslers used the same taillight design, while all 1956 Chryslers used the same taillight with the finned rear fender. There was no mix and match period. Now, if it was a wagon, the 1956 wagon used the 1955 rear fenders with a 'fin' grafted on. The 1956 DeSoto wagons used a similar add-on fin, Bill Vancouver, BC ----- Original Message ----- From: "Timothy A Koah" <talk4u@xxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 18, 2002 3:21 PM Subject: [FWDLK] 47 DeSoto and question... > greetings! > I saw a 1947(?)
