My maxwedge guy quoted me about 200-250 for a rebuildable '65 core. I also talked to Steve at Imperial Services (www.imperialservices.net) over the summer. At the time he indicated he was working on offering a shift cable for sale that would adapt the pushbutton shifter to later 727 trannys. Back then he hoped to have something by the end of the year, so might want to see how he has progressed. My preference would be to use his cable if it works, and leave those pushbutton 727's for the 62-65 resto guys.
