Many thanks, Chris, for the 'picture show' at
Southbury, CT. It's one of our favorite shows, and I've been attending for about
20 years. I'm always impressed by the quality of the cars that are on display,
and the large number of truly unique vehicles. How often do you see a '57 Hudson
and a '51 Frazer at the same show? And of course there's always a great
variety of Forward Look machines to view. The two-tone green '56 Imperial is my
very own "Wadsworth" which I purchased in January, 2000 to celebrate my 50th
birthday! Thanks again.

Subject: [FWDLK] Anyone at Southbury CT
on September 22?
One of the bigger old car shows in Connecticut runs at
Southbury in September of every year. If anyone on the list was there
this year with their Forward Look car, I may have taken pictures of
it. They're yours to download if you'd like, at the following
site:

Inspired
by Dave Lindsay's pages on Fotki, I bought a digital camera and went and
shot. They aren't as good as Dave's work, but I'll get better
with practice.
Forward Look cars that I saw and photographed include
a '55 Plymouth Belvedere, a '55 DeSoto Fireflite, a '55 New Yorker St.
Regis, a '56 Imperial, a '58 Plymouth Fury, a '59 DeSoto and a '60
DeSoto. There was also a '62 Chrysler 300. I also saw a second
'55 Chrysler and '55 DeSoto drive by, but I didn't find them to take their
pictures.
Regards, Chris
