[FWDLK] 1958 Plymouth convertible in Manhattan?

Is the owner of the (metallic brown?) 1958 Plymouth convertible I saw come down Seventh Avenue, turn right onto Christopher Street, and vanish, a member of this list? Beautiful car -- restored, I think, had New Jersey historic plates. I was walking up Seventh coming back from walking the dog, saw the car coming about four blocks away, stepped out into the road to stare -- seemingly oblivious to traffic, which I think startled the driver. The car had its top down, and there was a dog sitting on the front passenger seat. 44 years old and somehow still looked as contemporary as the 200X models surrounding it. Magnificent sight, I gave chase thinking it might get caught in Greenwich Village small-road traffic and I could get a closer look, but I couldn't catch up. Driver might have been heading to the Holland Tunnel. Again, just a beautiful car and a surprise to see in the middle of NYC. Regards, Chris ('60 Imperial, '58 New Yorker, '58 Royal)
