Why do you want an electric water pump? David Charles Gedraitis To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <dcg@xxxxxxx> cc: Sent by: Forward Subject: [FWDLK] electrical question... Look Mopar Discussion List <L-FORWARDLOOK@list s.psu.edu> 04/19/02 05:41 PM Please respond to David Charles Gedraitis I was debating installing an electric water pump in my '61 Newport. Aside from the stock equipment, I currently have an electric fuel pump, will soon have an aftermarket stereo (hidden, of course), and was just curious as to how does one figure out what a charging system can handle? Do I install everything and run it and see if it runs down the battery and dies? There has to be some way to figure this out, so if someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. If its too much for the current electrical system, what can I do about an alternator? I've seen planty of large-amp aftermarket ones, but they all connect with one wire, whereas I have 3, so I wouldn't know what to do with that either. Any thoughts? ~dave '61 Newport '67 Kaiser M-715 '91 Toyota Pickup -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Calendars are still available. Don't miss the chance to get yours now!
